TinySteps

Trust & editorial standards

Last updated: August 2026

Who writes our content

Every article on TinySteps is written by trained health writers with experience in maternal and infant health. Writers research each topic using peer-reviewed journals, clinical guidelines, and authoritative sources such as the World Health Organization and national health ministries.

Medical review

Articles are reviewed by licensed healthcare professionals before publication. Reviewers check that the content is clinically accurate, up to date, and appropriate for a UAE audience. Each article shows the reviewer's name and the date of last review.

Evidence standards

We cite primary sources wherever possible. When evidence is limited or contested, we say so clearly. We do not publish content that promotes unproven treatments or contradicts established clinical guidance.

Updates and corrections

Medical guidance changes. We review articles periodically and update them when evidence or guidelines shift. The "updated" date on each article reflects the most recent substantive review. If you spot an error, please contact us at hello@tinysteps.health and we will investigate promptly.

Not a substitute for medical advice

TinySteps provides general health information only. Our content is not a substitute for advice from your doctor, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a professional for diagnosis, treatment, or any questions about your health or your baby's health.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising or commercial relationships. Health content is never written to promote products or services.
